All our dishes are individually cooked for you so PLEASE allow enough time to enjoy your meal.

If you are vegetarian most dishes may be substituted with “Quorn”. Except for the steaks, and the pork and maybe the ribs.

If you have a special dietary requirement, celiac, nut allergy or just on a diet and would like a lighter meal just ask and we will see if we can help!

Prime Flame Grilled Steaks

Char grilled to your liking served with grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and a choice of fries or potatoes.

Barbequed Rack of Ribs American Style £10.95

Pork ribs smothered in a hickory smoke sauce served with salad and French fries. This is a real belly buster, do not chose this if you eat like a bird, unless you eat like a vulture.

Pork Normandy £9.95

Succulent loin of pork pan-fried with apple, cider, brandy and cream. Served on a bed of herby mash with a selection of vegetables.

Cantonese Beef £10.95

Prime steak stir fried with mushrooms, peppers, spring onions, ginger and bean sprouts in oyster sauce.

Served with plain rice or fried rice. Ah so! and that’s just the chef.

A true taste of oriental Ventnor.

Chicken Tuscany £9.95

Char grilled chicken breast served on a bed of rustic mash and a creamy roasted red pepper sauce with a hint of Dolcelatte

with a selection of vegetables or salad.

Thai Beef Curry £10.50

Prime strips of beef steak cooked in coconut milk with chilli, lemon grass, galangal kaffir lime leaves and Thai sweet basil. Served with plain or fried rice. Now you don’t have to go to Bangkok, unless you’re looking for something extra!

Tikka Masala £9.95

Chicken or prawn or even Quorn cooked in Indian spices and tomato sauce enhanced with coriander and cream

Served with pappadum and basmati rice. All this and no flock wallpaper in sight

Mexican Fajitas – Chicken or Vegetable or Quorn £9.50

Mexican chicken or vegetables together with peppers and onions in a fajita sauce, served with tortillas, salad, salsa, guacamole and sour cream

Shanghai Duck £11.95

Lean tender duck breast pan fried and served with a hoi sin and plum sauce, served with stir fried noodles.

Barbara-Ann Lamb £11.95

Tenderised lamb steak marinated in garlic, mustard rosemary and olive oil served on roasted vegetables with a choice of potatoes.

This is a recipe from California, the Beach Boys loved it so much they wrote a song about it (probably).

Captain Nemo Selection £13.50

Scallops, mussels and tiger prawns stir fried with white wine and garlic and fresh herbs resting on a (sea) bed of smoked salmon and fresh salad. If you like seafood you’ll love this one, it goes down like the Nautilus.

Salmon Firenze £9.95

Baked salmon fillet served with a fresh tagliatelle in a wild mushroom sauce

Green Thai Curry with Prawns £10.95

It’s green, it’s curry, and its got tiger prawns and fish from the far east… what else do you need to know? A dish made with all the ingredients that makes Thai food so delicious. Served with plain or fried rice.

St Etienne Tuna Steak £10.95

Char grilled tuna steak served on a bed of rustic mash with a creamy white wine, mushroom and garlic sauce, with a selection of vegetables or salad.

Blackened Dolphin £10.95

A delicious recipe from the Carib bar in Barbados, not actual flipper but a really tasty fish covered in Caribbean spices and served on a creamy mash, with sweet corn slices and extra hot sauce on the side if you want it!
